I attempted to work with State Farm myself after a wind storm ripped several shingles from our roof and had little success. From the moment we got referred to Nick things went smooth as butter. Nick went above and beyond to do a video damage assessment with my claim rep and got us approved for a full roof replacement. Despite supply chain storages, high winds, blown tires and whatever else you could throw at these guys they still managed to put a roof on our home professionally and quickly. Thanks Guys

Nick stopped by my house after a hailstorm last year and asked if he could provide me with a free roof damage assessment. Nearly a year later, I had a new, better roof at no expense to me. I am a fan of State Farm but know working a claim through the system can be slow & potentially frustrating. From Day 1, Nick documented everything and made sure our claim application was accurate & thorough. That made all the difference in making sure all our damage was covered. Also, Nick put the quality of our roofing project ahead of maximizing Mallard's profit, providing us with “free” upgrades that will save us money in the future & add value to our house for years to come. I was lucky. Nick happened to be reviewing hail damage in the Chatfield area when he saw me out front an offered me a free inspection. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO NICK @ Mallard Roofing and Construction for being such a great friend and helping us through the past 24 hours. While planning a long overdue family photo session with 2 teens turning the big 16 & 18 in a few weeks, Texas decided to have a hail storm, which dinged up my roof last week. Yeah, photo sessions aren’t that big of a deal, but when you run 3 businesses, little things like family photos turn into a big deal getting everyone ready. When the roofing adjuster was out assessing that damage yesterday morning, a small tini tiny little pipe in my wall decided to bust and flood half my house. So, my house has literally been ripped apart in the past 24 hours.I have no kitchen, no bedroom, no hallway, no laundry room and no sanity.I just sent the kids out alone shopping for last minute picture outfits while I sit in my living room surrounded by 16+ industrial fans and dehumidifiers,because it is the the only open area I have left as of now in my house, trying to collect my thoughts on what has happened in the past 24 hours and making lots of lists and phone calls. Even though my house is halfway demolished, I am feeling very blessed by how many awesome friends we have in our lives and Nick is obviously one of them. I had reached out to Nick to assist with the roofing issues last week and to do the walk through with our insurance. So,when he arrived yesterday morning to meet with the roofing adjustor, he saw I was overwhelmed by a new bigger problem and he was quick to jump in and help. He made phone calls, scheduled/met with contractors on my behalf,made sure no one was trying to take advantage of us, helped review information, and brainstormed living arrangements to help meet our needs. This is only in the past 24 hours. So, thank you Nick for being such a great friend!

I can't say enough about this company. Nick cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to make sure the work is done right, and if there's a problem he makes it right. He even does check-ins. Who does that anymore?! If you value good work, fair price and excellent customer service, he's your guy.

We hired Mallard roofing 6 years ago to replace our roof and I am now remorse for not writing this review then. We live in South Grand Prairie and if you do too then you are aware of the 60+ mile an hour wind storm we had roll through this week. One of our wind turbines was blown off. We called Nick and he had someone out to repair it the next day. Great customer service! We would recommend him to anyone needing roof work. Exceptional communication Exceptional service and stands behind what he says. We will never call another roofer. And if you're lucky you'll get to give "Mally" the lab, a pat on the head! Thank you Nick!

Had gutters installed on our new home from Mallard. I saw their billboard on Hwy 287 and I am sure glad I called. They were very prompt and had the job completed fast. They look great on the house. Very fair price also.
